Dear Journal,
McMurphy is back! I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad to have the real McMurphy back, I'm not even scared of him even more, well not as much. I knew he was back when he got up to get some cigarettes and just punched through the Nurse's window to get them, he said it was just so clean he thought it was open. He got away with it too!
Things have started to pick back up again, McMurphy has been doing a lot of things. He started a basketball team, I didn't ask to join, but I like to watch the other patients play, and they seem to be having a good time. He's also trying to set up a kind of field trip to go deep sea fishing. He somehow got it approved, but he needs a certain amount people to go for it to work, and in an attempt to stop people the Nurse has been putting up stories of shipwrecks.
I was scared about drowning and I wasn't going to go, but McMurphy talked to me and said if I'm always going around being scared of everything I'd never get out of this place. So I decided to suck it up and try to go, I'm still a little afraid though. The doctor is going with us, and McMurphy will be there so I think everything will be fine. Well we're getting ready to leave so I'll write about the trip later.
